The Ford Explorer 2015 offers inflatable rear safety belts in its 2nd-row outboard seating positions – the first of their kind in automotive production-.Second-row inflatable belts offer improved comfort and protection for passengers. The advanced restraint Safety Canopy® system is designed to help reduce head, neck and chest injuries for second-row passengers, often children and older passengers who can be more vulnerable to such injuries.

AdvanceTrac™ with Roll Stability Control (RSC)

The Ford Explorer 2015 comes equipped with standard class-exclusive AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control (RSC). It is the only stability control systems with gyroscopic sensors measuring both vehicles yaw and roll motion. Corner too quickly or swerve to avoid an object and RSC will selectively apply brake pressure and adjust engine power to help keep you under control.

You don’t always need the same interior. That is why The Ford Explorer 2015 is designed to give you the choice of 2-row/5-passenger, 3-row/7-passenger and 3-row/6-passenger versions. Explorer also provides plenty of cargo space — up to 1277 liter behind the second-row seats and up to 2429 liter behind the first-row seats (with all rear seat backs lowered). And should you require even more flexible cargo-carrying capability, Explorer comes with standard roof side rails and crossbars.
